DevOps, Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

We manage and evolve your infrastructure — cloud, on-premise, or hybrid — so your team can focus on the product, not the servers.

Infrastructure shouldn't be your problem

Manual releases that take half a day. Environments that work locally but not in production. Servers configured by hand that nobody remembers the details of. Development tools scattered, undocumented, impossible to replicate.

These are common situations, and people often live with them until something breaks. The problem is that when it does break, the cost is high: wasted time, blocked operations, security risks.

We take care of everything that sits beneath your software: infrastructure, environments, releases, monitoring, security. We do it with a pragmatic approach — we automate what makes sense to automate, document what needs to be documented, and put you in a position where you no longer have to think about it.

What we can do for you

  • Manage your infrastructure. We can take over the entire operational management — servers, environments, monitoring, backups, updates — freeing your team from infrastructure work so they can focus on development and core business.

  • Install and maintain your tools. Need to set up a document management system, an ERP, development tools, or internal platforms? We handle selection, installation, configuration, and maintenance — on cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments, depending on what makes the most sense for you.

  • Automate releases and repetitive processes. Is every deploy manual and risky? We build CI/CD pipelines that make releases repeatable, tested, and safe. But we don't stop at deployment: we also automate reports, imports, and everything else that someone does manually today and shouldn't have to.

  • Bring order to inconsistent environments. If your dev, staging, and production environments are misaligned — or worse, you don't know exactly what's in production — we map the situation, document it, and standardise it.

  • Migrate to containers and cloud. Want to move to Docker, Kubernetes, or the cloud but don't know where to start? We define the strategy, manage the migration, and train you to be self-sufficient.

  • Ensure monitoring and security. We configure alerting, backups, restore procedures, hardening, and secrets management. You always know the state of your environment and intervene before problems become emergencies.

When it makes sense to involve us

  • Releases are manual, lengthy, and error-prone
  • Environments are misaligned and configurations are done "by hand"
  • You lack CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or reliable monitoring
  • You want to migrate to Docker/Kubernetes or the cloud but don't have the internal expertise
  • You have tools and platforms to install, configure, and maintain and prefer to rely on someone else
  • Your team doesn't have the time (or desire) to deal with servers and you want to outsource management

Real-world cases

Standardised installations at end clients — ERP

A management system with multiple modules in different technologies, installed at dozens of clients with entirely different configurations. Every update was an adventure.

We mapped the architecture, standardised the technologies and build/deploy procedures, and dockerised all the applications. Today the client manages 20+ components in a unified way with docker-compose, centralised environment variables, and automated releases. Updating a client is no longer a risk, it's a routine.

Real-time synchronisation ERP to E-Commerce

An ERP needed to propagate price and product availability changes to the e-commerce platform in real time. No overnight batch: data had to be updated immediately.

We evaluated the options, designed the architecture, and installed a data pipeline (Oracle to Debezium to RabbitMQ) that captures every change and propagates it instantly. We validated the solution with stress tests on 12+ million concurrent events before going to production.

Internal infrastructure — Brainy Labs

For our own projects we needed CI/CD, code quality, documentation, and user management tools — accessible 24/7, at sustainable costs.

We evaluated cloud vs on-premise and chose on-premise: hardware sized to our needs, Proxmox for VMs, VPN for remote access, SSO with FreeIPA + Keycloak, and a suite of open-source tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Outline). Backup and restore procedures included. The result is an infrastructure that costs a fraction of the cloud equivalent and that we manage with complete autonomy.

Did you know?

The cloud is an exceptional tool, but it's not always the most economical choice. For services that need to run 24/7 — like a VPN, a Jenkins server, or an internal document system — cloud costs can be surprisingly high, especially for egress traffic. A well-managed on-premise VM can cost in a year what a few weeks of equivalent cloud would. The right choice depends on context: we help you make it with hard numbers, not trends.

In detail: our technical expertise

  • CI/CD — Automated pipelines for build, test, and deploy across multiple environments, with rollback and approval gates where needed.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — Infrastructure defined with Terraform and Ansible: versioned, reproducible, auditable.
  • Containerisation and orchestration — Migration to Docker and Kubernetes, private registry configuration, multi-container environment management with docker-compose or Helm.
  • Infrastructure assessment — As-is infrastructure mapping, criticality identification, evolution plan, and operational documentation (runbooks).
  • Monitoring, alerting, and security — Observability stack setup, backup/restore, hardening, secrets and access management.
  • Systems integration — Architectural analysis and definition of patterns and connectors to integrate heterogeneous systems securely (event-driven, API, message broker).
  • Platform engineering — End-to-end platform management: installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance of tools and applications for your teams.
  • Software selection and pricing — Selection of on-premise, cloud, or hybrid solutions with comparative analysis of costs, maintenance, and scalability.
